This City Is Worth Fighting For

An organizer wearing a Power to the People shirt walks through a Philadelphia neighborhood

About the project

Developed in collaboration with 215 People's Alliance in Philadelphia, This City Is Worth Fighting For follows grassroots organizers through rallies, neighborhood canvassing, meetings, and everyday acts of collective work.

Filmed over the course of a year and shaped by interviews with nine members, the documentary considers organizing as a form of informal civic education: a process through which people learn to participate in public life and build resilience by imagining what their city could become together.
