The Nightingale

In everyone's heart, the nightingale carries different symbolic meanings; it can symbolize freedom, but also music, loneliness, healing, or inner desire. Inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's "The Nightingale", this project uses process drama as an interdisciplinary method. Through role-playing, students explore the story, using their bodies and materials to create personal interpretations. This educational process encourages reflection on emotions, universal themes, and relationships with others and nature through artistic expression.
Installation Introduction
The teaching plan is presented in a booklet that forms a birdcage shape, which breaks apart when unfolded, symbolizing the nightingale's pursuit of freedom and limitless possibilities in education. Serving as a reference, it invites teachers to build upon it, drawing inspiration and fostering creativity through interactions with learners. Each lesson can be detached as a standalone session, highlighting its flexibility and adaptability.

Paintings

Exposition (Bottom Left 1): The nightingale was found in the ocean. Whenever the nightingale sings, the fish will jump out of the water to listen to the song
